Environmental Quality Council

The Environmental Quality Council is the interim legislative committee that deals with oversight of the Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks. This committee meets every quarter at least to discuss upcoming legislation, proposed rule changes and a variety of other issues. Elk are a constant topic of discussion and the Montana Citizen's Elk Management Coalition is always at these meetings, talking with legislators and other organizations that work in this space. The next upcoming meeting is July 14-15. The agenda hasn't been posted yet, but when it does, we will update this page along with sending an alert to people who have signed up through this website.
